CDC recognizes workplace wellness efforts in New Hampshire; Cheshire County HEAL commended for starting initiative
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), recently highlighted the work being done to improve employee health in Cheshire County, crediting the Cheshire County Healthy Eating Active Living (HEAL) initiative and the Healthy Monadnock 2020 Champions program for starting the initiative.
Reeds Ferry School in Merrimack, with an enrollment of 540 children in pre-school through 4th grade, was cited for demonstrating a healthy school environment that keeps students engaged throughout the day and helps them to become better learners, according to HEAL NH Director Terry Johnson.
